As a Data Science Senior Associate in the Connected Commerce Analytics team, you will generate actionable insights to drive portfolio growth, inform product design and marketing tactics, and enhance the customer experience. You will work closely with Product Owners, Strategy Leaders, and cross-functional teams to uncover opportunities for greater cross commerce connectivity. Your work will help shape the analytics strategy and deliver measurable impact to the business. We value your ability to solve complex problems and communicate findings effectively. Job Responsibilities
- Lead analytical projects, developing, planning, and executing both individually and in teams.
- Manage evolving requirements and ambiguity with strong problem-solving and client engagement skills.
- Partner with Product, Strategy, Technology, and Design teams to prioritize analytics roadmaps.
- Integrate data discoveries into business operations.
- Synthesize findings and present actionable recommendations to senior executives.
- Deliver practical data insights in a compelling manner.
- Analyze, measure, and optimize customer marketing investments and tactics across multiple channels.
- Apply advanced analytics capabilities such as test design, modeling, NLP analysis, segmentation, and optimization.
- Define business KPIs and measurement frameworks.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executive consumption.
- Ensure compliance with established controls and regulatory requirements in all analytics activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Math, Economics, Finance, Operations Research, Data Science, or Physics.
- Five years of experience in business analytics roles including digital, customer, marketing analytics, sales analytics, or business insights.
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, R, Alteryx, and Tableau.
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and statistical skills.
- Ability to synthesize diverse information, develop strategies, and make decisions.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to senior business leaders and diverse audiences.
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritize work across multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong financial and reporting acumen with understanding of key drivers of credit card profit and loss.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or MBA.
- Considerable background in consumer segmentation, customer profiling, and data mining.
- Experience in financial services.
- Demonstrated adaptability and emotional intelligence.
- Strong conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to align diverse views and influence cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with out-of-the-box problem-solving skills.
