The Director of Digital Experience leads the strategic vision, development, and optimization of enterprise-wide digital initiatives at INTEGRIS Health. This role drives digital transformation by delivering consumer-centric solutions that enhance access, engagement, and overall experience. Reporting to the SVP Chief of Staff, the Director oversees cross-functional teams and digital product portfolios, ensuring seamless, secure, and user-centered platforms.
With a strong focus on innovation, emerging technologies, and data-driven decision-making, the Director serves as a key advisor to executive leadership, shaping system-wide strategy and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and digital excellence.
Digital Strategy & Vision:
- Leads the development and execution of a forward-looking digital experience strategy that aligns with INTEGRIS Health goals and elevates patient engagement.
- Establishes a clear product vision for digital platforms, including the patient portal and consumer website, while championing a data-driven approach that leverages behavioral analytics, user insights, and market trends to inform design and decision-making.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partners with clinical, operational, marketing, IT, and other leaders to ensure digital initiatives are integrated, scalable, and aligned with enterprise goals.
- Serves as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, contributing to system-wide transformation efforts.
- Provides strategic leadership and mentorship to digital experience teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Patient Portal Management:
- Oversees the strategic enhancement of the MyChart (INTEGRIS Health & Me) patient portal to ensure a user-friendly, accessible, and feature-rich experience. Prioritizes core functionalities according to organizational and consumer goals.
- Drives adoption and engagement through targeted communication, training, and support initiatives, while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, data privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
- Online Scheduling Optimization: Leads the enterprise strategy for online scheduling ensuring seamless, intuitive, and accessible appointment booking experiences for patients and consumers.
- Collaborates with key stakeholders to align scheduling workflows with service availability, capacity planning, and patient preferences.
- Drives adoption through UX enhancements, personalization, and integration with Epic.
- Monitors performance metrics such as booking conversion rates, no-show reduction, and patient satisfaction to continuously optimize scheduling functionality and impact.
- Consumer Website Experience:
- Leads the strategic direction of INTEGRIS Health’s consumer website, positioning it as the digital “front door” for patients and the community.
- Focuses on optimizing discoverability through Search Engine Optimization (SEO), enabling seamless online appointment scheduling, and improving access to services.
- Ensures website delivers a consistent and consumer-centric digital experience.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Establishes and tracks key performance indicators to measure digital engagement, patient satisfaction, and task completion.
- Leverages data analytics and user behavior insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Emerging Technologies:
- Continuously monitors industry trends and emerging technologies, such as AI and personalized digital health, to identify opportunities that enhance the patient and consumer experience.
- Leads the evaluation and integration of innovative solutions, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Required Qualificationsexperience:
- Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in digital experience management or strategy, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position, preferably within healthcare.
- Experience leading enterprise-level digital transformations and a strong understanding of user-centered design and UI/UX practices are essential.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and digital optimization frameworks is necessary. Experience with AI/ML in digital experience is beneficial.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or Digital Marketing is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
Skills:
- The role requires effective communication, leadership, and collaboration skills. A passion for accessible and inclusive digital experiences is also important.
