Inviting applications for the role of Accounts Payable – Senior Process Associate – German – Remote EMEA
The Accounts Payable Specialist ensures accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, in line with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards. The role contributes to effective vendor management, compliance with internal controls, and safeguarding of company interests in all third-party transactions.
Responsibilities
• Payment process with defined procedures.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage invoices parked or blocked for discrepancies and ensure resolution.
• Handle dispute resolution with vendors and ensure alignment with payments.
• Verify delivery notes with Logistics in case of missing entries upon material receipt.
• Perform quality controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Support internal controls and provide documentation for audits (internal and external).
• Act as an interface between the Company and Suppliers, safeguarding company interests.
• Escalate to Management any issues that could cause production stops or potential fraud risks.
• Review, analyze, and resolve GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) items within assigned targets.
• Participate in meetings and calls to address GRNI issues with stakeholders.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
Qualifications we seek in you!
- Minimum qualifications
- • University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- • Good accounting knowledge of Accounts Payable experience.
- • Fluency in English and German is required.
- • Previous experience working with SAP.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level or higher).
