We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Photo Operations to fill this role based in our Miami office. You’ll be responsible for driving the performance, innovation, and guest impact of photo operations across both shipboard and shoreside environments. This role oversees a multifaceted portfolio that includes pre-cruise sales initiatives, retail product development, inventory and stock management, and data-driven reporting enhancements—all with the goal of elevating guest experience and maximizing revenue.
Reporting directly to the Director of Photo Operations, the Senior Manager serves as a key liaison between corporate strategy and onboard execution, ensuring alignment across departments and stakeholders. The role demands a high level of operational agility, analytical rigor, and creative ideation, with direct ownership of critical projects and indirect leadership of shipboard photo teams.

Responsibilities
Pre-Cruise Sales Strategy & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of pre-cruise photo sales initiatives, including concept ideation, pricing strategy, marketing alignment, and ongoing enhancements.
- Serve as subject matter expert and project owner, ensuring timely execution and cross-functional collaboration.
- Continuously refine guest-facing offerings to drive engagement and revenue.
Retail Product Development & Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the design, pricing, marketing, and forecasting of photo-related retail products.
- Manage vendor relationships and inventory levels to ensure product availability and freshness across the fleet.
- Align product strategy with brand standards and guest expectations.
Inventory & Stock Optimization
- Lead cross-departmental efforts to forecast, purchase, and deplete inventory in alignment with operational needs
- Monitor stock aging and implement strategies to maintain optimal turnover.
- Support emergency orders and vessel visits to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Reporting & Business Intelligence
- Partner with analytical teams to enhance reporting capabilities and develop new tools for business analysis.
- Ensure data accuracy, usability, and relevance to support decision-making across the operation.
- Own the deployment and continuous improvement of reporting frameworks.
Operational Oversight & SOP Development
- Manage day-to-day departmental operations, including urgent logistics and shipboard coordination.
- Develop and refine standard operating procedures to support consistency and efficiency.
- Contribute to broader business ideation and innovation within the photo operations function.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project and operational goals
- Present proposals and updates in both written and oral formats to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with shipboard and shoreside teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- 8 years of previous retail experience, in either hospitality or cruising industry.
- Strongly skilled in PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- Knowledge of cruise line photo operations and/or shipboard revenue operations preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; adept at stakeholder engagement across shipboard and shoreside teams.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or cruise operations preferred.

- Base Salary Range: $88,100.00 to $119,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
