Why This Role Is Right for You
As an AR Accountant, you’ll join a collaborative and forward-thinking team based in Oslo. 

We are looking for a determined, motivated, and skilled AR Accountant to join our team. This is a temporary position - firstly for a period of 12 months to cover one of our colleagues who is on a maternity leave. We have a good history of converting temporary hires to become a permanent employee - but no promises can be given at this time.

Together, we work with all aspects of the collection process to ensure that all of Nets Nordic's customers are compliant in terms of payment, in very close cooperation with the sales organisation and the front- and second-line part of the business. 

We are also responsible for the credit losses incurred and therefore owners of payment terms, and payment plans. 

• We ensure the correct handling of collection, bankruptcy, insolvency, liquidation, and reconstruction of our customers. 
• About Your Future Role
• In this position, you will:
• Be responsible for your own country in terms of collection, follow up with the business, and credit losses
• Have close cooperation with the external collection partner on customers, on collection, and on legal matters 
• Open and close customers' payment terminals.
• Reconciliation of the customer account balance and ensure clearing and possible payment to the customer.
• Have close cooperation with the Nets Nordic organisation and be a support function for internal departments, such as sales and different customer support teams

• You have strong English skills and master Norwegian or Danish in writing and verbally. 
• You perceive yourself as supportive, determined, and stable.

• Essential Qualifications: 
• Strong communication skills 
• Basic understanding of accounting and the rules and regulations connected with debt collection.
•  A structured way of working with the ability to deliver on time in an environment where interruptions are to be expected. 

Bonus Skills:

• A basic knowledge of SAP 
•  A good understanding of Excel
