Role Summary:
We have been hired to find a highly skilled Intermediate Data Analyst to lead the development and maintenance of a robust enterprise data model. This role will be instrumental in establishing data management standards across all enterprise systems and will collaborate closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility. The successful candidate will also lead all ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) activities and contribute to the development and execution of a comprehensive data management strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and efficient enterprise data model.
• Establish and enforce data management standards and best practices across all enterprise systems.
• Lead ETL processes for integrating existing and new data sources into the enterprise data environment.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment between data architecture and business needs.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data governance practices.
• Support data quality initiatives and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations.
• Contribute to the development and execution of a long-term data management strategy in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data management, data modeling, and data analysis.
• Proven experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational database systems.
• Experience working with enterprise systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Preferred Certifications:
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
• Other relevant certifications in data architecture, analytics, or ETL technologies
