Wave Life Sciences is looking for a Microsoft 365 Copilot AI Co-op for a 6-month full-time assignment. In this role, you will work with IT leaders and business partners to develop tools, agents and automations around Copilot. You will support the deployment, adoption, and optimization of Microsoft Copilot and other AI-driven tools across IT operations, enhancing productivity, security, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- You’ll help Wave explore how AI agents can reimagine everyday workflows, bring fresh ideas and experiment with new approaches.
- Design and build Copilot agents (Copilot Studio) grounded in approved Microsoft 365 knowledge sources to answer common questions (e.g., HR policy, travel & expense, purchasing how‑to).
- Assist in reviewing Data Security Posture Management for AI (DSPM) module to ensure Copilot queries align with security and compliance standards,
- Explore Copilot Analytics and the Copilot Dashboard in Viva Insights to monitor usage. To ensure responsible AI practices as job duties.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify repetitive tasks that can be automated using Copilot or Power Platform tools.
- Support the development of Copilot prompts and workflows to streamline IT service delivery.
- Track adoption metrics, user engagement, and productivity gains from Copilot usage.
- Prepare summary reports and dashboards for IT leadership.
- Run an agent pilot with users from Development and Discovery to gather feedback, usage metrics (like time saved and fewer support tickets), and quality signals. Use this data to improve quality and drive adoption. Document and demo the solutions.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Software Engineering, or related bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited college/university (GPA 3.0+ preferred).
- Curiosity for LLM/agent design, prompt engineering, and the Power Platform; willingness to learn Copilot Studio quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to translate user needs into simple flows and write clear documentation.
- Security‑first mindset and readiness to learn Wave’s AI policy and data handling practices.
- Well‑organized; able to work in a team and manage responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment; able to take direction and complete routine tasks independently over time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams extensibility, Power Automate, Power Apps, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Copilot connectors and grounding enterprise knowledge in Copilot experiences.
