Position Summary:
The Manager, Credit & Loyalty Store Operations, drives the growth of AEO’s Real Rewards loyalty and credit programs across US and Canada stores. This role develops and executes a year-round strategy to embed credit and loyalty into the selling model, increasing sales and customer lifetime value. The Sr. Manager partners closely with Field leaders, Synchrony Bank, and cross-functional teams—including Technology, Marketing, and Finance—to deliver training, initiatives, and consistent field support, while overseeing program budgets and fostering a high-performing credit and loyalty culture. This role requires proven experience leveraging data-driven insights, influencing cross-functional partners, and leading teams through change to drive results. As the Manager you will embody our values by creating a positive and productive workplace culture, acting as a role model for all associates.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison between AEO and Synchrony Bank to manage credit card and loyalty program operations.
- Develop and execute the year-over-year Credit & Loyalty strategy for US and Canada stores, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Lead initiatives that drive program performance, growth, and engagement across all stores.
- Integrate Credit and Loyalty into the selling model by educating and coaching field teams on how programs unlock sales opportunities and strengthen customer lifetime value.
- Partner with Field, District, Regional, and Home Office teams to analyze feedback, act on insights, and ensure programs remain aligned with best practices.
- Analyze internal and bank-supported data to evaluate project and program performance, measure results, identify trends, and uncover new opportunities.
- Develop and maintain credit and loyalty training for field leaders and ambassadors across multiple platforms (video, LMS, text-based, etc.).
- Partner with Home Office teams and Synchrony Bank to communicate program updates and initiatives.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with Home Office and Synchrony Bank partners.
- Manage program launches, incentives, tests, and initiatives, including budgeting and execution.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly program reports and insights to guide leadership decisions.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business , or a related field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail or corporate retail operations.
- Prior experience in Credit & Loyalty programs preferred.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and other relevant business tools or technology platforms.
- Self-motivated and organized, with strong skills in prioritization, planning, problem-solving, budgeting, and end-to-end project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Proven ability to influence peers and senior management.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, timelines, and reporting.
- Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.

- Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
