JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analysis Supervisor plays a key role in the Department of Biophysics, overseeing all financial operations, including the management of three CORES. This position requires strong leadership and supervisory experience, along with the ability to clearly present financial data to faculty and department leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Excel, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator.

Experience And Educationrequired

• Experience5 years Progressively responsible experience in finance with demonstrated experience in planning, forecasting and financial analysis.

Job Duties

• Working with manager, responsible for supervising departmental financial analysis and reporting, in support of budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Supervise and mentor financial analysis staff to ensure optimal operational expertise as well as technical knowledge.
• Provide analytical support to divisions.
• Design and implement periodic operational reports as well as ad hoc reporting.
• Develop multi-year cash flow projections for departmental projects. Identify areas of financial risk, present findings, and make recommendations to the manager.
• Provide strategic financial analysis to manager regarding business proposals, and make recommendations for optimizing the financial impact of business initiatives.
• Provide advice to department manager regarding key process improvement opportunities and serve as critical resource for implementation.
• Complete more complex special projects as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
