Analyst- Applications Associate (Pharmacy Automation)
(This position is hybrid with onsite work in Indianapolis, Indiana and Plainfield, Indiana)
This position is responsible for managing and supporting the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of automated systems (Automated Dispensing Cabinets, IV Workflow, Med Packaging, Medication Storage and Distributions Systems, etc.) within a pharmacy environment. This role involves troubleshooting pharmacy automation hardware and software issues, ensuring seamless integration of pharmacy automation technologies, and collaborating with pharmacy staff to improve workflow efficiency. The position also requires ensuring compliance with industry regulations and data security standards, while continually assessing and enhancing automation systems to improve accuracy and patient safety. Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Configures, installs, maintains and upgrades hospital information systems hardware and software under direct supervision.
- Administers and maintains security of operating systems.
- Provides operational support for the organization's information systems, peripheral equipment, and clinical applications.
- Provides onsite support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware.
- Performs routine assignments using existing procedures.
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience within Pharmacy environment or as Pharmacy Technician
- Strong technical & problem-solving skills
- Great Communication Skills
- Familiarity with databases or clinical systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 0-3 years of experience
- Knowledge of multi-application environments
- Prefers experience with databases or clinical systems
