Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Analyze the feasibility of validation plans for combustion and hybrid powertrain projects.
• Evaluate and upgrade local testing resources to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate testing campaigns across global engineering teams and locations.
• Manage outsourcing of tests not feasible within Horse facilities.
• Ensure validation plans align with allocated budgets and raise alerts when discrepancies arise.
• Represent the Testing department in meetings with stakeholders and client leadership.
• Ensure compliance with technical policies and quality systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Testing department.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in product validation and powertrain testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline; a Master’s in Automotive is preferred.
• Excellent skills in project coordination and technical analysis.
• Strong competencies in leadership and cross-functional collaboration, with a proactive and adaptable approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; a good level of Spanish and French will be valued.
