Horse Technologies is part of Horse Powertrain Limited – an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. 

This role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and is based in Valladolid, Spain , with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will do

• Design and execute advanced vehicle testing procedures to validate hybrid and thermal engine performance.
• Analyze test data and deliver clear, actionable insights to engineering teams.
• Develop software tools to automate testing and accelerate result delivery.
• Participate in functional vehicle tests, contributing directly to innovation in mobility.
• Support the technical definition and commissioning of new testing systems.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by implementing new methodologies and enhancing testing processes.

What we’re looking for

• A proven track record in developing vehicle test procedures and analyzing data from functional tests. 
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Automation, Electrical or similar); a Master’s degree is valued.
• Excellent skills in software testing and using tools like Matlab, Simulink, and CAN communication systems.
• Strong competencies in test automation and data acquisition, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
• Knowledge of the automotive sector, HORSE Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; French will be valued.
