About the role:
The Client Partner role is directly responsible for business development across the Azerbaijan market. You will identify opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and help agencies and advertisers achieve meaningful business results on TikTok.
The ideal candidate is a commercially driven, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape in Azerbaijan, a passion for client success, and a proven track record in consultative sales. You will act as a trusted advisor to local clients, driving product adoption and vertical growth strategies in a dynamic, fast-growing market.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions tailored to local industries and client needs — helping scale TikTok’s value proposition across both local and global businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Business Development: Grow TikTok's advertising business in Azerbaijan by identifying opportunities, acquiring new agencies and clients, and expanding relationships with existing partners.
- Own Vertical Strategy: Define and implement go-to-market approaches for key local industries such as consumer goods, e-commerce, fintech, education, and services. Develop tailored narratives and best practices.
- Build Client Partnerships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers at brands and agencies in Azerbaijan. Act as a strategic advisor aligned with their goals and priorities.
- Drive Adoption of TikTok Products: Promote the use of TikTok’s ad solutions across creative, measurement, and performance products to deliver impact at scale.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Client Solutions, Creative, Product, Marketing Science, and other teams to ensure smooth campaign execution and continuous optimization.
- Deliver Strategic Reviews: Lead business reviews, analyze campaign data, and identify areas of growth and improvement for local partners.
- Represent the Market: Act as the voice of Azerbaijan within internal teams, sharing market insights, client feedback, and success stories to inform product and strategy roadmaps.
- Lead Initiatives: Drive local programs, events, and activations to support vertical growth and product adoption.
