Respiratory Care Practitioner – Respiratory Therapy

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains, and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

  • This posting is for multiple openings of a Respiratory Care Practitioner 
  • This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends & holidays
  • Work Status Available: 
  • Full Time, Night 

We are offering employment at the following hospital locations:

  • Covenant Children’s Hospital – Lubbock, Texas
  • Covenant Medical Center – Lubbock, Texas

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school, or Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association 
  • Within 90 days of hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • 1 or more years of experience 
  • Experience may include: Clinical portion of training program

Preferred Qualification:

  • Coursework/Training: Flight Training
