The focus of the Digital Enterprise Sales Specialist’s role in the Early in Career Program (EIP),  is to drive and close Microsoft Enterprise Unified and Enhanced Solution Support opportunities to ensure customers are supported throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, improving their health and enabling customer outcomes and consumption. The Digital Enterprise Sales Unified Specialist leverages Microsoft’s unique expertise, including direct access to product teams, to help customers use their Microsoft investments as productively as possible.

Responsibilities

  • You will learn how Microsoft's cloud-platform can enable digital transformation and innovation enabled by AI. 
  • You will support team members on digital transformation opportunities in an assigned area by applying established process and activities. 
  • You will receive leads from Marketing and converts leads into opportunities for the supported business and apply Microsoft's sales process (MSP) to determine the quality of the opportunity and whether to proceed. 
  • You will participate in and contribute to internal technical community discussions and conversations and complete the required training and obtain relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry 
  • You will learn about direct competitors for the assigned products, solutions and/or services and collaborate with the 'compete' global black belts (GBB) to execute on strategies that position Microsoft favorably against competitors. 
  • You will collaborate with senior team members to manage the pipeline of the assigned territory in a solution area as well as support the development of a portfolio and territory plan.  
  • Scaling & Collaboration – Leads the sales orchestration to proactively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders as well as leveraging and expanding relationships with partners 
  • Subject Matter Expertise – Act as of Subject Matter Expert on Unified Support offerings aligned to driving consumption and adoption of the Microsoft Cloud to enable internal/external business outcomes

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (Rqs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
  • OR 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Pqs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management work experience
  • OR 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience. 

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC2 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $25.91 - $51.20 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.26 - $54.76 per hour.
