We’re looking for a Sr. Product Manager, Microsoft 365 Social & Creator Content to help Microsoft 365 show up natively across platforms and communities. You’ll ideate, shoot, edit, and publish short‑form and static assets, run always‑on and moment‑based campaigns, and manage creators/influencers end‑to‑end—from discovery and briefing to deliverables, measurement, and optimization. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative producer, social strategist, and relationship manager, fluent in the culture and mechanics of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and emerging formats.
Responsibilities
- Own social‑native content production: Develop concepts, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists; capture content (phone and camera), record sound, light scenes, and edit for rapid turnaround with platform‑specific hooks, captions, graphics, and aspect ratios.
- Run creator & influencer programs: Identify and vet creators, negotiate scopes/rates with agency, brief to clear deliverables, manage reviews/approvals, ensure FTC disclosure, rights/usage, and brand safety, and track performance to scale what works.
- Product Storytelling: Translate product stories and cultural moments into platform‑specific content plans, manage editorial calendars, coordinate posting and community interactions, and uphold voice, accessibility, and inclusion standards.
- Measure, learn, and optimize: Define KPIs (e.g., reach, engagement rate, watch time, saves, CTR), set up UTMs, analyze native and third‑party dashboards, run creative tests (hooks, thumbnails, cuts), and present clear insights and next steps.
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with PMMs, Comms, Brand/Design, PR, Engineering, Events, Legal/Procurement, and agency/freelance teams to align on moments, launches, and creator opportunities; keep stakeholders informed with crisp status and readouts.
- Elevate the craft: Track platform trends and creator innovations, proactively pitch experiments (formats, prompts, challenges, collabs), and raise the quality bar with new techniques, tools, and templates.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
- Project management experience across multiple workstreams; maintaining air‑tight calendars, asset management, and review processes; thrives in ambiguous, fast‑moving launch environments.
- Fluency in social formats, and culture (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X)
- Experience managing creators/influencers: discovery, vetting, SOWs, briefs, approvals, whitelisting/boosting, usage rights, deliverable tracking, and disclosure/compliance.
- Hands‑on ability to shoot, light, and capture audio for short‑form and interview/testimonial formats.
- Proficiency in editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve), color, audio sweetening, motion graphics, and thumbnail design; comfortable working from LUTs, presets, and templates.
- Demonstrates visual and brand sensibility; understands pacing, on‑screen text, and the first‑3‑seconds hook for each platform.
- Comfortable with community dynamics—tone, moderation triage, and escalation instincts for brand safety.
- Ability to translate business and product narratives into clear social concepts and content pillars, with a POV on channel/editorial mix and content velocity.
- Data‑literate: experience building dashboards and experiments, interpreting insights, and turning them into creative actions.
- Experience writing for scripts, captions, and briefs; concise stakeholder updates and executive‑ready summaries.
- Has a background directing talent and creators on set and remotely; gives and receives feedback constructively.
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
