Our rehabilitation services and professional staff provide the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities.

About The Role:

This professional position is responsible for assisting the Regional Director with oversight and management of CareLink’s Residential Program’s daily operations as well as the implementation of the agency’s mission, values and goals. Individuals working in this capacity account for staff supervision, implementing quality rehabilitative programming and ensuring the health and welfare of our participants.   This position is a part of the Management Team and works closely with CareLink’s Administration to implement agency policies, procedures and standards of care. The primary means of achieving these goals is through daily operational oversight and supervision of the individual programs within their region.  

Requirements

What You’Ll Do:

  • Plan the daily operation of the program.
  • Report all relevant problems and changes to the appropriate CareLink administrative personnel.
  • Oversee referrals to the program. Coordinate and develop individual service plans designed to improve the social and self-care   skills of participant.
  • Monitor participant medications. Oversee participant special medication needs. Oversee menu planning and food ordering on a  weekly basis.
  • Ensure coverage for each shift. Work additional shifts when needed to assure proper coverage.
  • Participate in the daily milieu of the program.
  • Demonstrates respect for participant, families, staff and agency principles.
  • Design and implement services to meet consumer needs. Transport consumers as necessary.
  • Monitors consumer charts on a continual basis to ensure that all treatment plans,

  progress notes and other materials are current.

  • Provides a thorough and timely orientation to each new employee in the program.
  • Conduct Staff meetings on a regular basis. Ensure that program/site is in full compliance with all applicable regulations

  and standards and is well maintained.

  • Monitors program expenditures according to budget.
  • Process all necessary paperwork related to participant program status, including admission and discharge information.
  • Monitor and sign-off on all incident reports as needed. Ensure that all staff documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Handle liaison responsibilities with appropriate entities. Participate in and organize on-call rotation.
  • Submit all administrative paperwork on time as required.
  • Performs regional site medication audits. Review CareLink Standard Documentation binders for the region.
  • Mentor Program Supervisors/Directors on program and agency policy and procedures.
  • Provide assistance to programs with pre-licensing preparations, including chart audits.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Regional Director in their duties as specified.
  • Contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement meetings and the agency training schedule.
  • Receives and participates in supervision on an on-going basis.
  • Demonstrates the ability to take direction.
  • Attends and participates in agency events.
  • Participates in achievement of agency goals, objectives, and mission through psychosocial rehabilitation values and process.
  • Participates actively in quality improvement efforts, including an emphasis upon participant and family satisfaction.
  • Prepares monthly billing and reports.
  • Maintains positive leadership role and maintains a professional demeanor.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Perform job within framework of agency policies and procedures, program requirements and professional standards.
  • Displays motivation, interest and initiative in working creatively with people who have disabilities.

Supervisory Role:

  • Assist staff in planning, coordination and implementation of day, evening, and/or weekend social and recreational activities for consumers.
  • Assists staff in their duties when needed.
  • Appropriately supervises all staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Provides leadership, example, instructions, suggestions, and discipline as appropriate.
  • Prepare staff assignments.
  • Participates in the development and training of employees to improve their work quality and job knowledge.
  • Assesses, teaches and supervises staff on an on-going basis regarding their work quality and job knowledge.
  • Prepares and administers staff introductory and annual performance evaluations accurately, fairly and on time.
  • Assist Program Supervisor and provide administrative support in their duties as specified.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required, master's degree preferred.  3-5 years of experience in the Human Services field or related coursework.  CPRP certification preferred, Certified Investigator certification from ODP preferred, Valid Driver's License

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Strong collaborating skills, knowledge of psychotropic medications, and methods of psychiatric rehabilitation required. Excellent written and communication skills required.

Salary:

62,000.00 - 68,000.00, salary commensurate with experience.
