Filestore provides a fully managed Network File System (NFS) service for Enterprise Cloud users who need file storage to replace their on-premise hardware when they move to the Cloud. This is a huge addressable market, with a window of opportunity to attract enterprises shifting to the cloud.
Our team's goal is to deliver Filestore's Control Plane for the most advanced scalable cloud file system aimed to serve hundreds of petabytes of customer data.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-quality features that enrich Filestore's offering to customers.
- Plan, code, test, integrate, coordinate, lead, communicate, and launch key deliverables.
- Conduct code reviews, and collaborate with colleagues inside and outside the team to help make things happen together.
- Foster and nourish best practices for engineering excellence.
- Initiate and identify areas for product improvement and work with stakeholders to get them staffed.
