Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or equivalent qualification.
  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
  • Experience with strategic investments and related technology transactions in a public accounting, venture capital, private equity , or multinational company environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with strategic and operational initiatives, across multiple products, functions, and geographies.
  • Ability to work with data to produce analysis, influencing decision making with numerical analysis and generating insights.
  • Ability to take ownership, confidence to interact with all levels, set objectives, drive results, and be a team player.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with a vast variety of departments.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

As part of this team, you will have a finance and accounting background, and harness this knowledge to navigate financial issues to find creative solutions. You are willing to do a search into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $137,000-$201,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end management of finance activities related to the strategic investment portfolio including preparing executive reporting and performance analysis of key investment initiatives, underlying investment positions and related business partnerships.
  • Manage the quarterly company valuation and impairment process reviewing the portfolio companies’ periodic financial results and partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate the health of the investment portfolio.
  • Enable executive decision making and investment intelligence by applying AI and automation to drive process improvements and data driven analytics at scale.
  • Be the subject matter expert on accounting frameworks related to investment and Mergers and Acquisitions transactions to advise agreement team members and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting close.
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Finance, Accounting and Tax teams to evaluate and execute on key priorities of the strategic investment portfolio.
