- Support the execution of the BU people strategy in alignment with the Regional and Group HR direction and local business priorities.
- Coordinate workforce planning efforts, including talent mapping and internal mobility tracking.
- Provide guidance to managers on people matters such as team structure, engagement, and staff development.
- Support change and organizational initiatives by acting as a trusted HR partner to departments.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to coordinate sourcing, screening, and selection processes for key roles.
- Support hiring managers in defining role requirements and conducting interviews.
- Ensure effective onboarding processes and early employee integration.
- Maintain oversight on probation reviews and integration feedback.
- Identify local learning needs in collaboration with the business and support execution of the BU L&D plan.
- Promote participation in Group-led and local training initiatives.
- Coordinate training logistics, feedback collection, and post-training effectiveness reviews.
- Promote a culture of continuous development and internal growth.
- Coordinate the annual performance management cycle and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Guide managers on setting clear objectives and conducting quality performance reviews.
- Support implementation of succession and development plans in partnership with Senior HR.
- Maintain talent records and help track progress of development actions.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and grievance handling.
- Ensure local HR policies are consistently applied and aligned with Algerian labor law.
- Promote fair, inclusive, and transparent people practices across the organization.
- Maintain up-to-date HR dashboards, workforce metrics, and reports.
- Ensure HR records, files, and systems are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.
- Support the implementation of HR processes in line with Group and Regional governance requirements.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement surveys, events, and culture-building initiatives.
- Coordinate feedback mechanisms and support action planning with business teams.
- Promote strong communication between HR, leadership, and employees.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, liaising with Finance and Admin to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor and track HR budget execution, including training, recruitment, and engagement expenses.
- Support implementation of the local reward strategy, including salary reviews, job evaluations, and promotions, in coordination with Senior HR Manager and Regional Reward.
- Ensure compliance with internal reward policies and documentation standards.
- Monitor headcount, resource utilization, and contract types to support workforce planning and reporting.
- Act as the HR focal point for audits related to payroll, benefits, and resource management.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- HR certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5+, SHRM-CP, PHR) is a strong asset.
- Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
Experience
- 6–8 years of broad HR generalist experience, ideally in a multinational or structured organization.
- Minimum 2–3 years in a managerial or business partnering capacity.
- Exposure to sectors such as logistics, industrial operations, supply chain, or manufacturing is an advantage.
- Proven experience supporting HR functions such as L&D, Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Recruitment, and Policy Implementation.
- Familiarity with Algerian labor laws, employee relations, and social dialogue practices.
Key Competencies & Skills
- Operational HR Execution: Skilled in coordinating performance management, onboarding, training, and employee engagement activities.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Solid knowledge of local labor law and ability to ensure consistent policy execution and regulatory compliance.
- HR Systems & Data: Proficient in HRIS tools, Excel, and HR reporting (dashboards, KPIs).
- Business Partnership: Ability to work closely with line managers to advise on people matters and drive local HR initiatives.
- Communication & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and guide cross-functional stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving & Initiative: Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within HR and cross-functional teams to deliver consistent outcomes.
