API Backend Developer

Description

We’re looking for an API Backend Developer with strong full-stack experience and recent NodeJS expertise to support mission-critical applications in an agile environment is a must have.

What You’Ll Do

• Build and maintain APIs in a serverless AWS environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, QA, and developers.
• Write and test high-quality code (Mocha/Chai).
• Improve complex systems for performance and availability.

Requirements

 What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend/full-stack development experience.  
• Proficient in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.  
• Hands-on with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, S3, SNS, SQS.  
• Experience with ElasticSearch.  
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.  
• U.S. work authorization required; Public Trust clearance required (fingerprinting, background check).  
• Federal project experience is a huge plus!

Other Information:

• The salary for this position is $80,000 - 120,000 annually
• This role offers a flexible work arrangement, primarily remote with the understanding that occasional on-site presence may be required to support client needs.
