Job Summary:
Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, new equipment installations and troubleshooting.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Uses hand and power tools, machine tools, and tests equipment as qualified.
- Completes tasks as assigned, by lead or by electronic maintenance request tracking system.
- Operates forklifts, aerial man lifts, and other company vehicles.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting of a variety of maintenance issues
- Follows all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Keeps work area clean and free from debris.
- Maintains regular work schedule.
- Follows these and additional instructions as assigned, including production duties.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3 AM (10% pay differential!)
- Initial Training on 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Work Environment:
- May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels).
- Bending, twisting, and working from aerial lifts and in confined spaces, lifting up to 25-45lbs on an occasional basis.
- Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy.

Requirements
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Previous maintenance experience of a minimum of two years.
- At least one year of metal fabrication.
- Ability to use computers.
- Able to stand for scheduled shift.
- Ability to read/write/speak English.
- US Person Status.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
