Description
The IT Product Management position is a technology leader who manages the Bank’s software applications and IT focused projects, from planning and implementation to ongoing maintenance and optimization, ensuring they align with business goals and run efficiently. Key responsibilities include overseeing upgrades, monitoring performance, managing software budgets and vendor relationships, and coordinating development and support teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in software and systems, project management skills, and strong leadership and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Developing and executing strategies for IT initiatives and policies, evaluating new software solutions, and staying updated on emerging technologies.
- Team & Project Leadership: Coordinating and directing technical personnel, managing IT projects, and ensuring teams meet customer service requests.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Managing financial budgets for IT applications, including cost control, and overseeing relationships and contracts with third-party vendors.
- Application Management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of software applications, from selection, implementation, and configuration to ongoing support and eventual retirement.
- Performance & Monitoring: Establishing performance standards, monitoring application performance, and troubleshooting issues to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- System Integration: Ensuring that new software integrates smoothly with existing systems and adheres to security and integrity standards.

Requirements
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential position requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A background screening will be conducted.
College degree in the field of computer science, systems administration, business administration, or relevant major, or with 4+ years comparable work experience. Banking support experience preferred.
- LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak optimally both one-on-one and before groups. Ability to communicate with clients and to establish relationships at all levels in the organization effectively.
- TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Must be a forward-thinking analytical problem solver, with the ability to prioritize and understand technological and business operational tasks. Having a solid understanding of project management and software development, application lifecycle management, system design, and databases would be beneficial.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Knowledge of problem analysis, structured analysis and design, data modeling and information classification expertise is helpful.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully carry out all vital functions of this job.
This position operates in a professional office environment with considerable time spent at a desk using office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. Noise level is moderate with constant communication and interactions with others. Ability to travel on occasion to all market areas and attend seminars or training sessions offsite
