Currently, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) (Onsite position) to join our Team! This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Service Provider, CISPOINT.

At CISPOINT, we have been providing proven IT security and solutions, and direct support to companies for the past 25 years. Because we’re growing, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to help support our own rapid growth.

Job Description:?  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Representative with proven cold-calling skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reaching out to potential clients, generating interest in our products/services, and scheduling appointments for our team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
 
What you will be doing: 

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce client's services.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of client's services to effectively communicate their features and benefits.
  • Secure appointments between potential clients and client's sales representatives or account executives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of communications and appointments in the CRM system.
  • Conduct follow-up calls or emails to confirm appointments, address concerns, and ensure ongoing communication.
  • Meet or exceed set targets for the number of appointments scheduled and qualified leads generated.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage potential clients and convey information effectively.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and strategies for lead generation and conversion.

Skills And Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
  • Driving record will be checked
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects and build rapport over the phone.
  • Strong personal determination to meet quotas and produce results.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for effective list generation and list scrubbing.
  • Persistence and resilience in overcoming objections and rejections during outbound calling.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales automation tools for database management and lead tracking.
  • Previous experience in sales development, telemarketing, or lead generation roles preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role conducting Cold Calls.

Working Conditions:

  • Work Environment: Office-based - Columbia, MD 
  • Hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Performance Metrics: Evaluated based on key performance indicators such as call volume, lead qualification rate, appointment setting rate, and overall sales pipeline contribution
