About The Role:

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional?  Do you have experience inspecting and assessing the quality of road maintenance or heavy equipment?  Are you looking to hold a key role in assuring every machine manufactured is top quality?  In this role, you will perform quality inspections of finished products such as Distributors, Hot Box, Tack Distributors, and Tack Tanks for our Truck Shop.

Responsibilities:

• Perform final quality inspections of finished products including but not limited to Distributors, Hot Box, Tack Distributors, and Tack Tanks.  
• Perform inspections of manufacturing process including but not limited to electrical harnesses, control box assemblies, welded frames, and welded tank assemblies.
• Develop, input, and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
• Creates and implements inspection of criteria and procedures.
• Interprets and communicates quality control philosophy to key personnel in the organization.
• Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Plays an active role on quality management teams within organization.
• Investigates and adjusts customer complaints regarding quality.

Requirements

In This Role You Will Need: 

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or one to two years of experience in related field.
• Computer knowledge is a must.  (MS Office Suite, Outlook, knowledge or ability to learn LeeBoy's Epicor ERP systems).
• The ability to plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
• Knowledge of how to conduct final quality inspections of completed products.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is an advantage.
• Welding inspection or prior fabrication experience is an advantage.
• Final assembly product inspection experience is an advantage.
