Market Development Assistant (m/f/d)

Stenon delivers the first real-time soil analysis to optimize fertilization, yield, and sustainability – powered by IoT sensor fusion, AI, and advanced software. Based on this technology, we are developing the leading nitrogen management solution, tailored to crops, regions, and countries. Our soil sensing device is the enabler – the goal is a complete solution for precise, site-specific nitrogen management.

Position:

We’re seeking a proactive, hands-on professional to support our Market Development and Commercial teams. In this role, you’ll focus on soil measurements, field trials, and technical support—playing a vital part in generating technical and strategic insights, validating protocols, and building strong customer relationships.

Tasks

• Conduct field trials and technical evaluations, generating data on agronomic characteristics and portfolio performance
• Perform soil measurements in the field when required
• Support the setup of experimental fields, demo plots, and field showcases
• Participate in field days, training, demonstrations, and other demand generation activities
• Provide technical support to the Market Development and Commercial teams
• Assist customers in the field, offering technical guidance and support in soil and crop assessments
• Join internal trainings and alignment meetings for technical and strategic updates
• Communicate technical and strategic information to the commercial team and other areas of the company

Requirements

• Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related areas (completed or in progress)
• Basic knowledge of soil fertility and soil management
• Knowledge of soybean, corn, and cotton is an advantage
• Intermediate English is preferred; advanced English is a strong plus
• Previous fieldwork experience is an asset
• Strong communication skills and interest in working closely with customers
• Willingness and availability for frequent travel
• Knowledge of the regional territory is an advantage
