About The Role

Aegis is seeking a marketing and communications coordinator to support the creation and delivery of internal and external communications, branded materials, and marketing content. This role is central to how we share our story, engage our staff, attract top talent, and support business development.

We’re seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for corporate communications. The ideal candidate will have experience producing recurring, high-quality publications—such as newsletters or business development reporting—and understands how to tailor messaging for large, diverse audiences. Attention to detail is essential, especially when working on materials that represent Aegis publicly or internally at scale.

You’ll work closely with the Communications and Marketing Director and Manager, as well as leaders across operations, human resources, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the writing and delivery of the weekly internal newsletter
• Draft and edit posts for internal communications platforms
• Create content for change management initiatives, proposals, and other channels
• Assist in strategic planning for communications and marketing initiatives
• Research industry trends and support campaign development
• Manage and maintain the monthly content calendar
• Post, schedule, and engage with followers on LinkedIn, Instagram, and our internal social media platform - Viva Engage
• Maintain a consistent and professional content voice aligned with Aegis’s brand

Requirements

• Experience producing recurring communications deliverables
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Familiarity with major social media platforms
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Experience with WordPress and SEO best practices
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or demonstrated interest in corporate communications within engineering or construction industries
• Marketing-oriented data analysis experience, especially Google Analytics
• Graphic design, photography, and videography experience
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
