What is the job about?

As a Quality engineer, you will Provide technical and quality support to the organization by utilizing modern quality improvement practices and techniques with concentration on production support, warranty reduction, process improvement thus improving Customer Satisfaction.

This position reports directly to our APU manager, INDUSTRY Operations and this position will operate out of the Fresno facility daily.

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.

The pay range for this position is $79,780- $110,121USD annually. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.

Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Fresno, CA.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality support to Value Stream teams and help develop, implement, and sustain quality systems and practices.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to improve products, processes, and services while reducing costs.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in coordination with complaint handlers.
  • Support statistical process control efforts, including control plans, charts, and capability studies.
  • Ensure quality and reliability during new or modified product production at the NPI stage.
  • Identify and isolate non-conforming parts or products in production and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing quality performance to drive improvements.
  • Report on quality trends and anomalies and recommend improvement actions.
  • Provide plant and group management with insights into production quality performance.
  • Conduct statistical data analysis and present findings using standardized templates via the FAS System.
  • Additional duties may be assigned or modified at management’s discretion.

Your Background

We Imagine That You Have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior academy or formal training experience is preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a quality-related role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Solid understanding of systems and processes.
  • Proven ability to build networks and foster strong working relationships.
  • Effective communicator, able to convey information clearly through written reports, visual tools, and digital systems.
  • Skilled in creating reports and maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders (e.g., using Power BI).
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a high level of independence and initiative.
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
  • Open, friendly, and trustworthy approach when working with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with routine tasks and committed to meeting deadlines and honoring commitments.
