Summary: The Employee Dining Room Attendant will keep the employee dining room beverage stations cleaned and stocked, assist BOH will keeping the food court stocked and cleaned and will monitor the tables in the dining room for cleanliness.
The intent of this position description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by this position. Employee(s) may be required to perform position-related tasks other than those specifically listed in this description.
Essential Job Functions:
- Wipes table tops and chairs with sanitized cloth.
- Keeps floor area around tables clean.
- Coordinates with stewards to remove filled bus tubs and ensures clean empty tubs are available.
- Replenishes supply of napkins, silverware, glassware, and dishes; maintains condiment area.
- Maintains sanitation including counters, floor, walls, sink, carts, and beverage service units.
- May make coffee, stock supplies and beverages, submits stock orders to the on-duty Sous Chef to be sent to the warehouse. Puts stock away in appropriate storage area.
- Regularly checks the break area utilized by the table games employees on the back end of the outlet kitchen prep area for cleanliness and to remove bus tubs of dirty dishes to the dish machine area.

Required Knowledge Of:
- Techniques and methods used in basic food service cleaning procedures.
- Safety precautions as they pertain to basic food service cleaning procedures.
Required Skill In:
- Performing cleaning techniques.
- Communicating both orally and in writing.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with others.
Education, Experience, Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, and three (3) months of cleaning or customer service work experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Low-security gaming license issued by the Grand Ronde Gaming Commission.
- State of Oregon Food Handler’s Certificate.
- If applicable, State of Oregon Liquor Control Commission Server’s Permit may be required.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Areas of assignment may be restricted to employees under 21 years of age.
- Due to the nature of the interactions with other employees and the public we serve, employees may be required to provide documentation of or receive, certain health vaccinations.
Environmental Factors And Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Work is performed in a food service environment, with routine exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or tobacco smoke, and occasional exposure to extreme cold or heat and potentially toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Subject to high levels of noise.
- Work is subject to frequent standing and walking, with occasional sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Work is subject to frequent use of hands to finger, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Areas of assignment may be restricted to employees under 21 years of age.
Equipment And Tools Utilized:
- Equipment utilized includes a personal computer, standard office equipment, box knife, cardboard crusher, and tools and equipment normally used in cleaning and maintaining food and beverages areas such as coffee urns, espresso machines, push carts, trays, bus tubs, utensils and serving plates, telephones, audio/video equipment, and two-way radio.
