A Day In The Life:

As the Promotional Claims Accrual Analyst, you're the mastermind behind keeping our promotional spend in check and on fire! Dive into the action with ongoing reviews, management, and analysis of our customer promotional plans. You'll team up with our awesome internal squads to ensure everything's accurate and right on time for month- and quarter-end close. Get ready to fuel our promotional strategies with precision and the unstoppable Monster energy! 

The Impact You'Ll Make:

• Responsible for regularly monitoring, updating, maintaining accruals to ensure accuracy for month-end and quarter-end closing cycles related to Promotional Allowance accruals, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, internal controls, & GAAP rules. Update and review of monthly GL details and related financial postings to identify changes requiring updates. Participate in internal and external audit, as needed. Identify opportunities for processenhancements/improvements.
• Provide support to leadership by communicating insights on fluctuations within the Promotional Allowances accrual, expense, develop, deliver various analytical reports, and participate in adhoc assignments or projects, as needed. Collaborate, coach, support cross-functionally by providing guidance and instruction on best practices and process requirements.
• Responsible for the review of promotional planned revisions and/or cancellation requests to ensure proper information is recorded and administered appropriately when revising or cancelling promotions.

Who You Are:

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of --Accounting, Mathematics, Business Administration, or other related studies
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in analytics
• Computer Skills Desired: Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI, SAP, Salesforce, and/or VIP-PPM knowledge etc. a plus.

• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Strong understanding of accounting principles related to accruals, problem-solving and organization skills, self-motivated mindset with a proactive approach to taking the initiative. Typing and 10-key preferred

Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $56,250 - $75,000.  The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
