Optician, Clinic

FYidoctors - Courtice clinic is seeking an Optician for a full-time role. This team member will work a schedule of 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Optician will be responsible for the retail and repair of eyewear products as well as follow-up patient care and has at least one year of previous optical experience. Join us in advancing eye health and enhancing the lives of our patients in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

What Will You Be Doing? 

• Educating clients about the best eyewear choices for their lifestyle
• Assisting with selection of frames to suit patient’s aesthetic and performance needs
• Performing eyewear repairs and adjustments
• Contributing to clinic retail sales goals
• Upholding excellent customer service standards
• Perform contact lens fittings and conduct progress checks to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Provide exceptional sales and customer service experience related to contact lenses and eyewear
• What Do You Bring?
• Minimum one year of experience in an optical environment
• Registered Optician in Ontario
• Passion for providing exceptional patient care
• Commitment to excelling as a member of a high performing team
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Good computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Suite
