We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Residential Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional, aesthetically pleasing residential spaces that reflect client needs, lifestyle, and budget. This role involves collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to bring residential projects from concept to completion.

This position will be on-site, Monday - Friday in our Minden, NV or Reno, NV offices.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and layouts for residential projects including high-end single-family homes, multi-family units, and renovations
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit)
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather measurements and understand spatial requirements
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget constraints
• Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that align with design goals and client expectations
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and compliance with building codes
• Assist in preparing and presenting design proposals to clients
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
• 4+ years of professional experience in residential design
• Licensed Architect or Licensed Residential Designer preferred 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
• Strong understanding of residential building codes and construction processes
