The Role

As Senior Accountant – Compensation (f/m/x) you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting across all company entities, with a focus on fixed assets, IFRS liabilities, compensation & benefits, and travel & entertainment. You will support General & Administrative (G&A) functions by preparing and posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, generating financial reports, and ensuring audit readiness. Also you will identify and resolve discrepancies, helping maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

What You’Ll Do

  • Month-End Closing: Prepare account reconciliations, record journal entries, and maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
  • Fixed Asset Accounting: Help to team maintain a clean, updated accurate fixed asset subledger.
  • Support in tracking when assets are placed into service and adjusting the FA subledger accordingly.
  • Assist in Fixed Asset creation and coding.
  • Provide assistance in the Workday Procurement system, analyze purchase orders and requisitions to ensure accuracy.
  • Review general ledger transactions to confirm proper classification of expenses and provide recommendations
  • Partner with the in managing recurring reports that inform leadership decisions.

What You’Ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Around 3+ years professional accounting experience at a public accounting firm, or mid-to-large size company (> $100 million revenue), experience with food/manufacturing/ e-commerce industries is preferred.
  • Detailed understanding of month end closing processes and thorough IFRS expertise.
  • You are open to benefit from a flexible schedule that bridges time zones with our US colleagues: enjoy later starts at 11:00am on three days per week  and contribute your expertise during one focused week at month-end closing when your impact matters most.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, etc.), additional familiarity with Oracle Fusion would a plus.
  • Your bring excellent English language skills both written and spoken (at least level C1) and are strong communicator who gives clear and structured excel recommendations.
  • Attention to detail, a strong sense of ownership and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Your are a proactive problem-solver, vigilant for errors and inconsistencies rather than merely completing routine tasks.
