- Salary Range: $92, 151 - $115,189 per annum + comprehensive benefits
- Hiring Range: $92,151 - $103, 670 per annum plus comprehensive benefits

As a specialist, you will support efforts to implement, enhance and advance the development of professional training programing, and the coordination of programming designed to foster well-being, belonging, and transformative change in organization-based contexts.
What you will do in this role:
- Work in collaboration with teams to provide advice and guidance to program staff in the planning, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services
- Provide expert planning, analytical, technical and report writing services needed on a project or initiative specific basis
- Provide technical support and recommendations in support of strategic communications and change initiatives
- Authorize program evaluation initiatives as designated under relevant policies and procedures
- Chair working group meetings as required
- Manage special projects that include consultation, research, evaluation and analysis
- Plan and implement education opportunities for staff and management
What The Role Requires:
- Post-secondary degree in Public Administration, Finance, Business Administration, program planning and evaluation or other relevant areas that align with government administration
- Five years’ experience in program planning, evaluation and research
- Combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills/Abilities:
- In-depth understanding of and experience in determining the need for, the integration of, and the interpretation of analytical, statistical methods and tools in conducting program evaluation
- An understanding of stakeholder and participatory issues and the ability to assess their impact on a wide range of program planning and evaluation activities
- Ability to identify and communicate organizational and community-based issues pertaining to improvements in program planning and evaluation to management
- Skill and experience in qualitative and quantitative methods of research
- Knowledge and understanding of organizational culture, reconciliation, equity, accessibility, diversity and inclusion (READI)
- Ability to synthesize information about a wide range of program goals and objectives with a READI-lens
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience in the use of computer software for statistical analyses, such as Access, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proven ability to apply project management skills normally acquired through advanced training, or the equivalent experience and to lead complex and diverse teams on short notice
- Ability to use team enhancement tools such as MS Project and other team collaborative and management software
- Understanding of current legislation (i.e., AODA, Ontario Human Rights Code, Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrate understanding and sound judgment in dealing with ethical concerns related to actual or potential impact on clients or the organization including knowledge of related legislation
- Demonstrate a commitment to reconciliation, equity, accessibility, diversity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias

In this role, you’ll benefit from the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement that prioritizes meaningful in-person connection. A minimum of two days per week on-site is expected, with additional in-person presence as operational needs evolve. This arrangement allows for a blend of in person and hybrid work that adapts to support both organizational priorities and employee flexibility and is subject to change over time.
