Job Description
To lead and support HR change initiatives, manage incidents and requests, and drive process optimization across country teams. The role will assess improvement opportunities from local HR teams, evaluate feasibility and cost-effort implications, and support selected initiatives through to implementation. The role also includes hands-on delivery of simple automations and improvements using tools like Excel, MS Office, and low-code platforms.
- Key Accountabilities
- 1. Change & Incident Management
- ▪ Act as the primary contact for managing HR system change requests and incidents.
- ▪ Coordinate with HR Digital and country teams to ensure timely resolution and documentation.
- ▪ Maintain logs and dashboards for tracking and reporting.
- Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement ▪ Collaborate with country HR teams to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. ▪ Evaluate suggestions based on effort, cost, and impact. ▪ Support implementation of selected initiatives, including stakeholder engagement and change management.
- Automation & Tools Enablement ▪ Independently deliver simple automations using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and other MS Office tools. ▪ Explore and apply low-code tools for repetitive tasks and process improvements. ▪ Maintain documentation and training materials for implemented solutions.
- Project Management ▪ Lead or support regional HR projects, including planning, execution, and benefit tracking. ▪ Ensure alignment with global HR systems and processes. Provide regular updates to regional leadership.
Qualifications
▪ HRIS & Systems Expertise: Understanding of HR architecture, data flows, and integrations; advanced proficiency in Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, and Syngenta-supported low-code tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Smartsheet).
▪ Process & Technical Optimization: Skilled in identifying inefficiencies, translating business needs into technical specs, and implementing improvements using automation tools (Excel, RPA, etc.).
▪ Documentation & Training: Able to create clear guides and support users through system changes.
▪ Stakeholder Engagement: Effective collaboration with HR, IT, and business leaders across regions.
▪ HR & Compliance Knowledge: Solid grasp of core HR functions and regulatory requirements (labor law, data privacy, audits).
▪ Project & Change Management: Experienced in leading HR projects and managing change communications.
▪ Analytical & Business Acumen: Strong ability to assess cost-benefit of changes and align HR systems with strategic goals.
▪ Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working across countries and functions.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field is preferred but not required. Candidates from IT or digital transformation backgrounds with strong HR system knowledge and HR awareness are also encouraged to apply. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) or Lean Six Sigma is a plus. Experience with HR systems (Workday, SAP, SNOW) and digital tools.
