Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Treasury to lead our global treasury function during a critical phase of growth and transformation. Reporting directly to the CAO, this executive will be responsible for all aspects of treasury strategy and operations, including global cash management, capital markets readiness, liquidity planning, FX risk management, and banking relationships. The ideal candidate brings deep treasury experience in a high-growth technology company, preferably one with IPO experience and international exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Capital Markets Leadership
- Serve as a key advisor to the CFO and executive team on capital structure, financing strategy, and liquidity planning in anticipation of an IPO and beyond.
- Play a key role in capital markets readiness, including development of public company financial infrastructure, investor presentation support and other items as requested.
- Evaluate and prepare the company for IPO-related treasury impacts
Global Cash & Liquidity Management
- Oversee global cash forecasting and positioning across multiple currencies, jurisdictions, and legal entities.
- Implement best-in-class liquidity strategies to optimize working capital, investment program management and fund our growth.
- Manage intercompany funding and repatriation strategies in coordination with Tax and Legal.
Treasury Operations & Banking
- Own relationships with global banking partners; negotiating facilities, fees, and services.
- Oversee treasury operations including payments, bank account structures, and treasury systems across international markets.
- Lead implementation and upgrades of treasury technology, as well as assist in treasury related aspects of other systems projects (e.g., payroll, stock admin compliance).
Risk Management
- Identify opportunities for improved management of FX and interest rate risk mitigation strategies across a multi-currency environment.
- Monitor counterparty risk and establish robust investment and credit policies aligned with company risk appetite.
- Manage the corporate insurance program
Team Building & Leadership
- Build, lead, and mentor our treasury team, as well as other members of the finance team with complimentary functions/roles.
- Drive operational excellence and control through policies, automation, and compliance with SOX and public company readiness requirements.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in a global, high-growth software or technology company.
- IPO and/or public company treasury experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing international treasury operations, including FX exposure and intercompany funding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CFA, or CTP preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to influence at the executive level.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach; comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. #LI-Hybrid
The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
