Winpak Films Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their Production Department based out of Senoia, GA on a full-time onsite schedule. In this role, you will lead and develop a team of production employees, ensuring that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. You will be responsible for supervising daily operations, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and driving performance excellence on your assigned shift. Your leadership will directly contribute to Winpak’s commitment to operational success, innovation, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and develop production team members to meet safety, quality, and performance expectations• Ensure shift coverage and smooth operation of production processes without disruption• Maintain compliance with safety and housekeeping standards across the production floor• Monitor and enforce quality checks to ensure all products meet customer specifications• Drive productivity goals by minimizing waste, optimizing raw material usage, and maximizing efficiencies• Oversee effective order changes, blend changes, and production adjustments• Report shift performance and communicate operational issues to management as required• Support troubleshooting and corrective action efforts in collaboration with Maintenance and Management• Participate in investigations of customer complaints and support continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience• 3+ years of experience in the plastics industry or related manufacturing environment• Previous supervisory experience in a production setting• Knowledge of extrusion operations and ability to troubleshoot issues effectively• Experience leading, training, and motivating teams in a fast-paced environment• Strong communication and organizational skills• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or a related field• Experience working with extrusion machinery and related production equipment• 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing• Background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and lead process improvement initiatives
Additional Details:
- This position is for a full-time onsite role.• This role requires working in both office (30%) and floor (70%) environments, with exposure to noise, temperature variations, and production equipment• Minimal supervision required; general direction provided on improvement initiatives and knowledge development
