Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Engineer with hands-on experience in Emerson Syncade and SQL Server administration. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects supporting electronic batch records (eBRs), recipe development, and system integration for global pharmaceutical clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement MES solutions using Emerson Syncade, including recipe authoring, BOPs, and eLogs.
• Administer and optimize the SQL Server environment supporting Syncade, including backups, performance tuning, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional MES workflows.
• Support migration of Syncade objects from development to production environments.
• Develop and maintain validation documentation (URS, FS, IQ/OQ/PQ, RTM).
• Troubleshoot Syncade modules and SQL Server issues to ensure system reliability and compliance.
• Participate in change control processes and provide technical input during audits and inspections.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Emerson Syncade MES in a regulated (GxP) environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server administration and database architecture.
• Familiarity with GMP manufacturing processes and electronic batch records.
• Experience with validation lifecycle documentation and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
