About Slingshot Biosciences

Location:  Emeryville, CA. This position is hybrid, with 3-4 days on-site per week. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management & Compliance: Maintain and expand the QMS to meet ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and cGMP requirements, including document control, training, and change management.
  • Operations & Quality Oversight: Manage CAPA, deviations, complaints, audits, ensure inspection readiness across all operations and track key quality metrics.
  • Process Improvements: Oversee product quality checks, batch record review, supplier qualification, and raw material release.
  • Continuous Improvement: Support tech transfer, process validation, SOP development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Client & Deliverable Support: Review data packages and client deliverables for compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, engineering, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in Quality within biotechnology, medical device, diagnostics, or life sciences manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, cGMP, CAP/CLIA regulations.
  • Experience with quality documentation, audits, and QMS tools.
  • Hands-on experience with laboratory or manufacturing processes; exposure to flow cytometry methods is a strong plus.

Salary And Benefits:

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $105,000 to $120,000 + equity + benefits.

Our salary ranges are calculated by role and level. Your position within that range will be determined by your job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, and training/certifications.
