VP of Product Sales is a senior leadership position within the company reporting to SVP of Sales. This position will be primarily responsible for evaluating and prioritizing corporate investments for the development of current and future products. The candidate will be working across technology and product development teams, collaborating with the Business Development staff on competitive solutions, as well as providing the overall vision for the product development investment roadmaps and go to market strategies to achieve company financial goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review customer, mission, and market requirements for potential solutions and product candidates across the company portfolio.
- Assess product development plans and enhancement opportunities.
- Review and prioritize corporate investment budgets, forecasts, and metrics.
- Own the product roadmap and communicate with C-level staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Product Development Teams to assess product mix and marketing strategy.
- Monitor and manage strategic marketing plans for each product or product lines.
- Define pricing and competitive positioning for each product.
- Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
- Help Build incredible teams and processes to deliver products that satisfy the needs of our customers.
- Become a key evangelist of company differentiated capabilities and participate in Marketing & Communications (MarCom) and GovOps activities such as conferences, discussions with customers, thought leaders and potential industry partnerships
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen and the ability to obtain a clearance
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) and an advanced degree in a technical field
- Required minimum 10 years of experience as a product leader
- Strategic & creative thinker with the experience to successfully implement go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration
- Able to formulate and implement market strategies for products Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
- Successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable investment roadmap
- People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Understand the user experience and design
- Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and oral communication skills
