About You

We are seeking a finance professional with 5+ years of FP&A experience who thrives on analyzing data and turning it into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial analysis and strategy. Familiarity with ERP and reporting tools is preferred, along with the ability to clearly communicate results and recommend improvements that drive business performance. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently analyzes costs and production activities to provide business unit insight for potential cost reductions and process improvements. May recommend improvements and initiate change.
  • Performs cost analysis & provides recommendations to be used for strategic decision making.
  • Communicates to the business unit how activities and their costs are linked to the products and the Company's financial results.
  • Performs and analyzes costing run to determine the cost associated with component parts and finished goods.
  • Performs monthly and year end closing processes.
  • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organizations progress against its financial goals.
  • Facilitates the strategic and annual planning processes with the business unit.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to lower level financial analysts within group.
  • May act as lead on various projects and handle more complex tasks.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude and possesses expert knowledge of subject matter.
  • All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed.

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline is strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Experience with P&L, balance sheets, or financial reporting preferred
  • Ability to analyze trends, identify risks/opportunities, and provide commentary.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with senior leadership.
  • Attention to detail with experience in preparing reporting/presentations for mid- to senior-level audiences.
  • Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system)
