Digital Futures is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our Academy team to support the delivery of our Data Analytics and Data Engineering pathways.
Job Summary
The role of a Teaching Assistant at the Digital Futures Academy incorporates a breadth of duties and responsibilities, dedicated to creating an immersive and supportive learning environment. As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility is to support the lead instructors in delivering the Data Analytics and Data Engineering pathways to ensure our students have a world-class learning experience.
Responsibilities
- Proactively support students during their Academy journey
- Participate in daily meetings with Academy Team to track cohort progress
- Report into the Academy Team with curriculum feedback
- Active contribution to building pedagogical processes
- Participate in student reviews and grading
- Collaborate with Academy Team regarding instruction and curriculum content
- Motivate and build student confidence
Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication and listening skills
- High degree of empathy for learners
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences
- Proficiencies in Python, SQL, statistical and machine learning
- Self-starter mentality
- Collaboration within cross-functional teams
- Process oriented

All candidates must have the right to work in the UK and will be expected to work from the Digital Futures office in London for 4-days a week.
