Job Description

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a Senior Account Director to join our expanding team in the UK/IE market with a focus on Mid-Market. In this role, you will execute both the sales strategies needed to grow the region that you are a part of and on the regional plan.
Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a book of business of approx. 60-70 existing customers, focusing on renewals and upsells
- Drive new business acquisition on the E-Learning space through proactive prospecting, consultative selling, and relationship-building.
- Lead strategic account planning and multi-threaded engagement across multiple stakeholder levels (C-level, HR, L&D, Procurement, IT).
- Discover and deeply understand customers’ business needs, challenges, and goals to position the right solutions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success, Deal Desk, Pricing and other teams deliver value to customers and achieve revenue targets.
- Consistently meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Deliver on our targets associated with key strategies to support our business performance (Operational Priorities)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience in a quota-carrying role, managing a portfolio of existing customers to renew existing contracts and up-selling and cross selling new products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Tech / SaaS / E-Learning / Recruitment industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, including renewals, upsells, and cross-sells
- Fluency in English (written and verbal)
- Multi-threading expertise — building strong relationships with multiple stakeholder levels (C-level, HR, L&D, Procurement, IT, etc.)
- Strong customer relationship management skills with experience building and maintaining long-term client partnerships
- Ability to discover and articulate customer business needs and position tailored solutions
- Strong business acumen, consultative selling skills, and negotiation abilities
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Dynamics365) and productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to clearly demonstrate value and ROI from existing and future LinkedIn solutions
- Experience managing complex deal cycles involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to understand customer goals and align them with your company’s solutions
- Use of data to drive insights, prioritization, and forecasting
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with Deal Desk, Pricing and Customer Success
