Get to Know the Team
The team is responsible for growing and managing Enterprise GrabMart accounts and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) businesses. Ensuring close partnership with these merchants and partners, we develop plans and strategies to drive their sales and meet their business needs, across the different services in Grab such as Express, Pay, and Ads.
Get to Know the Role
- Establish and manage strong business relationships with existing and potential new GrabMart merchants and FMCG partners to drive their growth
- Lead all elements of account management, including business identification, business development strategy, partner negotiation, day-to-day account management, and execution of key initiatives
- Enable accounts' growth and success, measured by deliveries, GMV and revenue
- Form deeper relationships with accounts through collaboration in other Grab verticals such as GrabPay, GrabAds and GrabExpress
You will report to the Manager, Commercial, Mart/FMCG, onsite at our Grab One North office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Work with the Mart & FMCG Account Management Lead / Head of Merchants on individual account's business development strategy.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with a focus on building lasting relationships and increasing profitability/revenue.
- Drive growth for accounts, measured by deliveries and GMV, and ensure that the partner thrives on the platform through these key initiatives:
- Engage accounts to ensure thorough understanding of their needs, concerns and business objectives
- Analyze data and develop initiatives to increase revenues/profitability for your portfolio
- Work across functions to tailor account specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, marketing support, integrations, product, etc.) to ensure accounts have the most optimized experience with Grab
- Drive operational excellence by working with the merchants and operations teams
- Work closely with business teams to develop joint business plans, conduct regular business reviews and pitch strategic initiatives
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business / Management or equivalent.
- You have 3+ years of experience with account management (preferred), sales, business development, partnerships or equivalent role
- Able to manage conversations with C-level positions and senior stakeholders
- Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
- Comfortable with managing data and able to perform analysis (e.g. to solve business problems)
