What Will You Do?

As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will work collaboratively with the professional services team to support all aspects of the employee life cycle. This includes:

  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand their objectives and align HR initiatives that drive results.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing best-in-class HR guidance on topics including workforce planning, organizational development, employee engagement, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the HR leadership team to shape and execute our People strategy, acting as a key liaison between HR and business departments.
  • Support talent management efforts in partnership with the recruiting team, ensuring timely and effective execution of hiring plans and new hire experience.
  • Lead and support full employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, HRIS updates, employee changes, and offboarding.
  • Coach managers on performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, development planning, and performance improvement plans.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, policy interpretation, and compliance.
  • Conduct internal investigations and make recommendations based on findings to mitigate risk and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Execute the implementation of corporate-wide People & Culture initiatives, ensuring adoption and effectiveness across teams.
  • Provide HR leadership with drive data-informed decisions through regular tracking and reporting of key people metrics.
  • Learn and grow continuously—bringing curiosity and a solutions-oriented mindset to every interaction.

What Will You Need?

  • Human Resources Education (Diploma/Certificate/Degree) with 5-8 years' related and progressive experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience within a broad range of HR functions, including workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and leadership partnering.
  • Proven experience and patience to build relationships with business leaders to elevate the service level expectations and experience.
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Adaptability and accountability with proven ability to lead through influence by supporting high-performing professional teams.
  • Fluent and proficient working with technology applications and data, especially Excel and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization and work seamlessly within a cross-functional team.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, benefits management, and HR best practices in Canada.
  • To be willing and comfortable working full-time in the office.
