What You’Ll Be Doing:

Join our dynamic finance team as AP/AR and Reconciliations Manager, leading 14 staff to deliver strategic finance objectives while managing approximately £419m in financial responsibility.

  • Lead high-performing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliations teams
  • Drive innovation through new technology and digital transformation initiatives
  • Serve as lead officer for Sundry and Adult Social Care debt management
  • Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled on time with robust controls
  • Maximise cashflow through optimised payment and collection strategies
  • Partner with IT, Agresso (Unit 4), and finance colleagues to implement cutting-edge systems

What We'Re Looking For

  • AAT qualification or equivalent professional qualification
  • Previous Team Leader / Supervisory experience
  • Experience in billing, debt collection, or AP/AR functions
  • Comprehensive knowledge of AP/AR legislation and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with computerised financial systems and Government returns

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your Director.
