Your Role:

From the life cycle assessment and design of its products and its focus on energy saving initiatives, to empowering its employees to give back to the communities in which they live and work. The Sustainability & Social Business Innovation team aims to be a sustainability multiplier for the Life Science industry. As a Strategic Positioning Specialist, you will support the Sustainability & Social Business Innovation team to drive forward its strategic programs, which is key to embedding sustainability across the business. This position will support the team’s strategic positioning of Life Science sustainability programs both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- developing multimedia content to amplify and differentiate sustainability programs and engage employees and customers alike, as well as reviewing sustainability claims to align with industry best-practices and regulations.
- Given the global position of our company and team, the candidate will coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of positioning activities and reporting on progress.
- The candidate will develop creative solutions for engaging cross-functional teams, employees, and customers in our sustainability programs and coordinate them from start to finish, evaluate and track their success.
Location: On site in office 3 days per week in Burlington, MA
Who You Are
- We are seeking a candidate who is comfortable working with data and approaches problem-solving with an analytical mindset.
- The candidate should be able to translate complex, technical projects into easy-to-understand strategic communications for a variety of audiences, while maintaining accuracy.
- The ideal candidate sets accountability as a priority with high organizational and project management skills to lead and track the success of their projects and initiatives.
- We are seeking an individual who is detail-oriented and self-motivated, eager to learn and collaborate with colleagues across disciplines.
- Travel up to 10%
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of professional working experience in positioning and communication of strategic business priorities
- 2+ years working with advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or similar fields
- Creative communicator with basic knowledge of design programs, i.e., Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbally
- Self-motivated problem-solver who thinks critically when facing a challenge, with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and collaborating with global stakeholders
- Previous experience in the Life Science industry or in a sustainability discipline
Pay Range for this position: $82,800-$129,500
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
