We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Server Validation Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in validating and testing photonic hardware and systems. You'll be responsible for executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and debugging issues, and ensuring our photonic products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. This role requires a deep understanding of Photonic IC architecture and laser performance.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation test plans for photonic systems, including power-on-test, stress testing, and hardware component validation.
• Perform root cause analysis and debugging of hardware and firmware issues, collaborating with design and development teams to resolve problems efficiently.
• Automate test cases and improve existing test scripts to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Document test results, create detailed bug reports, and track issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware design, firmware, software, and product management, to ensure seamless product development.
• Stay current with industry trends and new technologies related to server hardware, validation, and testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in server hardware validation, testing, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for test automation.
• Experience with various operating systems, including Linux (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to analyze complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of photonic architecture and components, a significant plus.
• Experience with server management tools like BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) is a plus.

We offer competitive compensation. The base salary range for this role determined based on location, experience, educational background, and market data.

Salary Range$177,000—$194,000 USD
