Job Description

As a core member of the VP of Innovation & AI’s team, the Senior Analyst, Market Intelligence & Insights for AI owns “always-on” competitive and ecosystem intelligence to fuel Adtalem’s enterprise-wide AI initiatives. You’ll research and synthesize emerging AI technologies, alliance partners, and market trends—especially in lead-to-enroll, enroll-to-graduate, teaching & learning, and operational efficiency—and translate findings into high-impact content that we share broadly across the institution. 

  • Monitor peer institutions and industry disruptors’ AI strategies across enrollment, retention, learning, and back-office functions. 
  • Maintain a dynamic competitive dashboard and deliver weekly briefings to the VP of Innovation & AI. 
  • Identify, evaluate, and profile strategic AI vendors, academic labs, and technology partners critical to our AI roadmap. 
  • Produce partner scorecards assessing technology maturity, integration fit, and strategic value. 
  • Continuously scan academic research, industry reports, and startup activity in AI-powered education solutions and enterprise automation. 
  • Convert complex research into executive-quality slide decks, one-page briefs, and BI dashboards. 
  • Assist in developing regular thought-leadership content and intelligence summaries for the Innovation & AI team to share across Adtalem. 
  • Completes other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology or business related field required. 
  • Two (2) plus years of experience in market intelligence, competitive research, or strategy at a premier consulting firm or fast-paced corporate strategy function. 
  • Experience mapping intelligence in online education, higher-ed technology, or healthcare IT. 
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI/ML concepts, generative AI platforms, and adaptive learning tools. 
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities: benchmarking, primary interviews, survey design, basic financial modeling. 
  • Proficiency with market research platforms and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). 
  • Proven track record building and scaling intelligence dashboards or partner evaluation frameworks. 
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills; adept at crafting executive-quality decks and concise briefs. 
  • Insatiable curiosity about AI technologies, educational innovation, and enterprise process optimization. 
  • Self-starter with strong project management and the ability to juggle multiple research streams at pace. 
  • Strong organizational influence skills. 

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
