  • Job Title: Senior Recruiter (Contractor Position)
  • Location: Austin, Texas
  • Reports To: Head of PeopleDuration: 6 month contract (with a possibility of extension)

Work Arrangement: Part-time (20hrs to 25hrs week). This position is based fully on-site. This role is not hybrid or remote - onsite presence is required.

About The Role:

As part of the People Team, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for collaborating with leaders in our growing US and India business and managing the talent acquisition processes to ensure the organization attracts, hires, and retains qualified candidates. The role involves strategic planning and partnership with various departments to meet the organization's hiring needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage End-To-End Recruiting:

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including role approvals, intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviews, evaluations, and offer closures.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial screenings and interviews, and administer assessments as needed to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit.

Compliance & Process Optimization:

  • Train and support hiring managers on interview best practices, structured interviews, and evaluation criteria.
  • Ensure consistency in interview processes to reduce bias and improve quality of hire.
  • Optimize the ATS to its full potential and ensure all the templates are up to date

Reporting & Metrics:

  • Define and track key recruitment KPIs such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction. Analyze data and present insights to management to optimize recruitment performance.

Talent Pipeline & Workforce Planning:

  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaborate with the business and HR partners to anticipate future talent demands.

Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate journey by providing timely updates and maintaining communication.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand needs and provide regular progress updates. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster a collaborative hiring environment.
  • Promote the organization's culture, values, career opportunities, and benefits through the company website, social media, and employer review platforms to attract top talent

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with a focus on technical, managerial or leadership roles.
  • Payments sector/Fintech experience would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and tools such as Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or similar platforms
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and job board vendors, ensuring performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
